Responsibilities:
- Provide feedback on scripts and incoming proposals pitches at any point in the development, pre-production, or production phase to enhance and refine the quality.
- Ability to read, write, articulate and present shortlisted projects of interest to internal teams (in English and Thai)
- Collaborate with internal Producers, writers and directors to evaluate and improve scripts for our Original Content.
- Review and analyze existing scripts to identify areas for improvements in terms of structure, character development, dialogue, pacing and overall storytelling.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market demands and audience preferences to deliver scripts that resonates with our core target audiences.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential content and IPs that aligns with our organization’s goals and target audience.
- Coordinate with Marketing team in prepping necessary written materials for Marketing usage or Content distribution.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree in English Literature, Creative Writing, Communication Arts or Film Studies
- Fluent in English and Thai with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 3-5 year of scriptwriting, copywriting or related experience from film/series industry
- Strong portfolio of successful script doctoring or scriptwriting projects across various mediums.
- Passionate about reading and writing. All forms ranging from novels, online novels, web-toons.
- Ability to organize and prioritize effectively
- Ability to exercise critical and analytical thinking while working with creative content
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high attention to detail
