Job Responsibilities and Qualifications :

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating, end-to-end editing, and publishing engaging content for our social media channels, such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
• Identify and extract key moments from long-form video content to produce engaging short clips and promotional teasers for marketing and social media distribution.
• Edit and enhance video content by adjusting visuals and audio, adding subtitles, and incorporating basic effects to improve clarity, engagement, and accessibility.
• Brainstorm and execute creative ideas that align with our brand and audience interests.
• Assist in basic video editing and graphic design to create visually appealing posts.
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with the team to develop content planning and social media strategies.
• Provide insights and suggestions for improving our social media presence.
• Organize and manage video files using a structured system to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and workflow continuity.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communication arts, Digital Media, Film, or a related field
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate original content ideas and take initiative
• Attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility in completing tasks
• Basic skills in video editing, content creation, and/or graphic design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
• Must have access to a personal laptop capable of handling video editing tasks

Preferred Skills:

• Strong interest in and understanding social media platforms is a plus
• Experience with social media management tools.
• Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Prior experience in content creation or social media management is a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is highly preferred
