About the team
Our Overseas marketing team plays an integral role in forming new artists, drives the artists’ ongoing market expansion, and connects the growing team in the overseas marketing function. We are looking for an outstanding, talented, and self-driven video editor to join our team at Tencent. In this role, you will work closely with the marketing team to develop creative video for our artists, focus on new video solutions, and translate the ideas into exciting visuals. All on a quest, you will be an essential part of the artist's foundation to make an impact on a global scale.

Responsibilities
Develop and design the artist’s visual identity, portfolio, marketing and operational collateral, and brand guidelines.
Edit long and short video for online and offline marketing materials e.g. social media content, advertisements, and all our touchpoints. Ensuring they are visually compelling and align with the artist’s identity.
Work closely with cameramen to ensure all relevant footage collected from the events.
Collaborate with the marketing team to translate marketing objectives into clear, compelling visual designs that enhance fans’ engagements and conversions.
Leveraging knowledge of lighting and sound to enhance video quality and impact.
Maintain artist consistency throughout all our marketing projects, ensuring a seamless visual communication across all channels.
Assist the team members in choosing the right style, attractive graphics, images, and other visual elements to adapt them according to the objectives of the project.
Assist and review the overall performance of video with team members to improve the quality of video.
High-level project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects from conceptualization to completion.
Basic Qualifications
1-2 years of experience with a proven track record as a video editor or a similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing design capabilities.
High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant video editor software (web design/motion graphic design is a plus).
Strong understanding of the entertainment, fans' behavior, and k-pop/t-pop/c–pop idol industry.
Strong knowledge of video platforms and their design requirements eg, TikTok, YouTube and IG reels.
Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
Strong understanding of excellent design and its potential to drive business success.
A keen eye for aesthetics and detail, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Open-minded to receive feedback and improve the work quality and process.
May need to support creative needs onsite including weekends/holidays due to the artist’s schedule.
